A year-long programme of events

Ballina 2023 marked 300 years since the formal establishment of the town by O’Hara, Lord Tyrawley in 1723 with an exciting, year-long programme of events for all to enjoy.

Our programme included events like Mayo Day 2023, the Mayo.ie Western People Women’s Mini-Marathon, Connacht Fleadh & Festival, ‘Communities Creating Change’, an International Climate Conference in partnership with the Mary Robinson Centre, a spectacular Macnas Community Parade, live music performances, arts, cultural and sports events and much, much more!
