Exhibition invitation The Face of War

Ballina’s Ukrainian community invites you to visit their photography exhibition “The Face of War“, which will open on Friday, February 24 at 5pm in Ballina Arts Centre. All are welcome to enjoy an Irish cup of tea and Ukrainian homemade cookies.

‘The Face of War’ consists of a photo collection and a video presentation of life in Ukraine from the first day of the war until the present day. 365 days of heroic and proud Ukrainian resistance have passed since Russia launched a large-scale brutal invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

The aim of the exhibition is to raise public awareness about today’s life in Ukraine with the aim of showing what kind of country Ukraine really is, what kind of people the Ukrainians are, and how they are fighting every day for their future.

The exhibition will run until March 10. Admission is free.

Donations are encouraged to the Come Back Alive Foundation.
