Building on their annual dive rally event, Ballina’s Grainne Uaile Sub Aqua Club will present an International Dive Rally as part of Ballina 2023.

The geographic positioning of North Mayo as Ireland’s closest land base to the Continental Shelf is the driving force of marine biodiversity to its coastline.

It lends itself to being one of Europe’s top scuba diving destinations.

The Grainne Uaile Club is inviting scuba divers from all across the world to explore the rich marine terrain of Killala Bay during August 2023.

Friday
14:30 – Early Registration Open
17.00-19.00 – Dive #1 Departure – Shore Dive
20:00 – Bottle – Refill #1
21:00 – Evening Entertainment with DJ Chris Lawlor in Lacken Community Hall (Lacken Enterprise Centre). Buses will be available to transport patrons to and from Kilcummin.

Saturday
08.00 – Registration Open
10.00 – Safety Brief & Group Photo
10.30 – Dive #1 Departure
12:30 – Bottle – Refill #1 Departs
Lunch – Provided by Grainne Uaile
14:00 – Dive #2 Departure
16:00 – Bottle – Refill #2 Departs
17:30 – Dive #3 Departure
18:00 – Food Van
20:30 – Live Music with Rock/Soul/Reggae party band Stewy and the Vegans in Lacken Community Hall (Lacken Enterprise Centre). Bar on-site. Buses will be available to transport patrons to and from Kilcummin.
