The Wild Atlantic 10 Miler 2023 – Sunday, August 20

Ballina Athletic Club, Belleek
Sunday, August 20 2023, 11am
The fifth annual Wild Atlantic 10 Miler road race takes place this year on Sunday 20th August, hosted by Ballina Athletic Club.
This year, to mark the town’s 300th birthday celebrations, each participant will receive a very special Ballina 2023 commemorative medal, soon to be revealed!
The first 200 registered participants will also receive a technical quality top.
The race will begin at 11am in the Belleek area of Ballina town near Ballina AC, and will take participants on a fantastic route through the picturesque Belleek Woods running parallel to the iconic River Moy and along part of the Monasteries of the Moy Greenway.
The forgiving route is ideal for runners new to the 10-mile distance and the timing of this race fits perfectly with those training for the Dublin City Marathon or other autumn marathons.
Ballina Athletic Club has successfully hosted a range of races over the years from 10k to half marathons to marathons so can guarantee participants a well-run and enjoyable event. Refreshments will be served after the event … including their legendary cheesecakes!

The first 200 people to register will receive a special technical quality top.
This race is AAI approved and Jones Counter measured, chipped and timed with water stations on the route.
A race briefing will be emailed to participants before the event. Race number, chip and t-shirt collection will be available on Saturday, August 19 from 5pm – 6.30pm and Sunday, August 20 from 9am to 10.30am.
